Association for democratic prosperity ZID has realized project “You are right!” twice, and main target of the project is education to young people (graduates in high schools) about their rights and obligations within the legal system and motivation for using those rights as well as to obey laws in general.
Aiming this, in 2006. – 3000 copies were distributed to young people across Montenegro, and in 2008. – about 7000 copies was distributed to all high schools in Montenegro, in all 48 high schools!
Publishing and pressing of the book “You are right!” was financially supported by Open Society Fund Montenegro and Gambles Games Fund Montenegro. Also, the project was supported by Ministry of education and science of Montenegro.
Although secondary schools pupil were targeting group of the project, guide is for older population as well, because in it they could find large number of information connected with legal system and laws, and yet those information are for everyday use as “to the doctor”, “on the work”, “in the family”, “in the school”, “on the travel” and “relationship with environment”.
The book you are holding in your hands is NOT A LAW.
If it was a law, it will contents thousands of pages and weights at least ten of kilograms. In that case you will not read it any way. We invest our effort to make it useful and practical. We have no intention to play role of judges and to explain is it or how laws are respectful in everyday life. We let you to judge by your self about it.
We wish to introduce you to your rights and obligations, which come from legal system of the state you live in it. Our intention was to motivate you to use those rights, and to respect all laws.
The purpose of this book is not to tell you what you gone to do and what not.
